You don’t walk cancer alone. If you’re lucky enough, you are able to share each step with family, friends and a community like no other.
Whenever I meet someone else who lives with cancer, there is instant connection and support. Because once you have cancer, there is no going back to the ‘before’ days.
Which is why when Natasha Verma reached out, I instantly said yes. It is a privilege to see what her foundation does. As a fellow cancer veteran, she walks the walk. Good wigs are expensive and hard to get. Her foundation gives those going through treatment a chance to customize what they need and ultimately give some joy when dealing with sorrow.
