Diwali at the White House

I was lucky enough to go to the White House during the Obama administration many years ago but this year was on a whole other level. And that’s due to the work and incredible accomplishments across so many fields in our community. And because we are now impossible to ignore. And it’s just smart to bet on brown. 💪🏽

The light of our community lit D.C. bright last night but the light we all carry everyday and put into the world is what matters most. I hope we all take that into the voting booth when we VOTE in a couple weeks. It matters. We can make a difference and there’s nothing we can’t do if we do it together. In the spirit of #Diwali, let all things good and kind triumph. 🙏🏽🪔
