“When SEEMA Magazine approached me about a cover story, I asked if they would celebrate the ‘buzz.’ It’s not often we see someone who likes like I do now on the cover of a magazine. Fleabag aptly says, ‘Hair is everything!’
Well hair for an Indian woman is next level shit.
My relationship with my hair and ultimately my idea of beauty has evolved and continues to as I hike along my #fuckcancer journey. I am still in the thick of it but what I know for sure is my girls know we can rock through it all.
Thank you to the whole SEEMA team for embracing this vision and giving me a day where I felt feminine and strong in a way I haven’t in a long time.
