I first met Sheetal Sheth almost two decades ago, on the set of The Singles Table, an NBC pilot that never aired. Sheetal played the bride whose wedding brought together a group of singles at a table (hence the title) and I played her bridesmaid, also the ex-wife of John Cho.
We hit it off immediately and continued to work together in the films Yes We’re Open and two seasons of Nice Girls Crew (along with my Saving Face co-star Michelle Krusiec). Aside from being an incredible actress, Sheetal is also an accomplished writer (I often gift her books to children) and advocate (she is a breast cancer survivor).
When I think of people who I consider to be my most esteemed colleagues, favorite people, and dearest friends, Sheetal is at the very top of that list. I love her with all my heart and am continually inspired by her.
